Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit of a letdown as they were late getting ready, which made us late for our appointment, and there was a lingering smell of tobacco smoke despite being in a non-smoking room. It was also surprising that there was no microwave available. However, the convenient location within walking distance to downtown and Rogers Arena was a definite highlight. The service, though professional, lacked detailed information about hotel amenities and appeared judgmental during check-in due to our booking method. The dining experience was satisfactory but a bit overpriced for what was offered. On the bright side, the hotel offered a beautiful view of the river. Overall, an average stay with some notable drawbacks and benefits.
I had a great experience at the hotel. The rooms were really nice, especially considering I had only booked that afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by having a big window with an amazing view. The higher up you stay, the more comfortable the rooms seem. The service was helpful and friendly, though it felt a bit busy at times. The location was perfect for enjoying the festivities of Grey Cup, but there were some challenges with vehicle accessibility, especially for larger cars. The dining was okay but not exceptional, and the facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel offers a very comfortable stay with a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though outdated, are quite cozy with a comfortable king bed and a large desk area, though some power supply issues were noticed. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, with a small issue of forgetting to return my credit card, but they promptly resolved it by offering a discount on parking fees. The location, while convenient for exploring downtown, might not be the safest for solo female travelers at night. The dining options were limited, but the lounge had a fantastic view of the river valley. Overall, a satisfactory stay with room for improvement.
The hotel had some nice aspects but also some drawbacks. The rooms were nice enough but had some cleanliness issues. The service was a bit uncomfortable at times but overall helpful. The location was good for downtown, although not very vehicle accessible. The dining experience was excellent, with a variety of options. Overall, a decent stay with both positives and negatives.
Staying in a concierge floor entitled us to a higher floor along with breakfast and late afternoon snacks, although hearing neighbors having fun was a downside. The rooms, while older, were clean but showed signs of wear and tear.
